After 35 years, my dad is retiring in June.  He's spent all of those years at Cumberland Valley School District playing the role of teacher, coach, and administrator.  To celebrate his contributions, the Eagle Foundation is presenting my dad with the first-ever "Commitment to Excellence Award" this Friday.  The Carlisle Sentinel has an excellent article about my dad and the award.

Just to show how much he has meant to CV family over the past 35 years as a teacher, coach, assistant principal, director of curriculum and instruction, as well as director of elementary education, the Eagle Foundation has decided to honor him as the inaugural recipient of the Commitment to Excellence Award at its 11th annual recognition dinner.

Set for next Friday at the West Shore Country Club, Crobak will headline a list of 13 individuals for their service and leadership to the district.
